Title: Berlina 2000 Running Lean And Intermittent Misfire
Post by: Arthur Daley on August 10, 2014, 03:34:52 PM
Hi guys I'm under the impression that almost nothing can be done to adjust the carb due to the emission control regs of the 70s. Does anyone know of a way I can get the car to run a bit richer as it also has an intermittent misfire and I'm thinking this could be the cause as I have checked the ignition side thoroughly and all is ok with that?

Cheers
Sean

Sounds a bit like the problems I had with my car which was all down to invisible particles of dirt in the carb. The only way to sort it is to strip and clean the carb, blowing through every channel you can find with an air line. Check out the advice I got and what I did in the following threads;
