Title: Lancia Beta H.P.Executive 2000 ie, 82' - KrissEB
Post by: KrissEB on May 11, 2014, 03:21:43 PM
Here is my new car.
Lancia Beta H.P.E 2.0 ie from 1982.

When I find this car, the owner said that Beta from 3 years was not used. But also he said that before Lancia was in good condition and he drive maybe max 50 km. So i wasn't quiet sure that everything is alright.
The body was good, whitout visible traces rust. Mechanic side it misterious but exept engine it's look fine.
Interior is not good, front seats are broken and cocpit in some places is cracked.
And few parts is missing.

Now photos

Curious mix of parts and interesting arrangement for the expansion tank you have second series fl grille and lamps, vx bonnet, early style wheel centre caps. Despite the broken bits seat fabric looks OK which is good as stitching often fails on these

Curious mix of parts

Yes i know:) lukasdepalenica show me all this "mistakes" im my car:) For sure I change the bonnet to straight and now i'm not sure in 100% to change grill because the older version is more pretty:)

Pictures form "demolition"

Personally I prefer the late grille or the series one chrome one, I find the 5 bar grille bland. I think I would keep  the vx bonnet adds a bit of muscle to the looks

Yep, late S3 grille would suit the car better I think.  But it's your car! :-)

At this moment late grill stay:)
Bonnet which i have for me is too similar to thes bonnets from mustang or doge. I don't like this style. Also my car is not a VX version and this bonnet is a hand-made Vx doing by previous owner.

I don't mentioned that this car in 1994 have an accident.
Damage:
- bonnet
- 2x fender
- engine

Hi

Have to say it does look a pretty solid example, wish my floor pan looked like that when we pulled up the carpet originally......

Looks like it has had a lot of body repairs and a full inside and out respray at some time in the past
