Title: Instrument display question
Post by: Tamburini on April 04, 2014, 01:21:07 PM
A question that will be (I hope!) easy for someone to answer...

I have a 1977 Beta Spider with the old-style instrument cluster on the dash.  The symbols are not clear, and the Haynes manual does not have a key to indicate what each symbol shows.  While I've worked out most of them, I'm still puzzled by the symbol in the top compartment of the central display (sandwiched between the speedo and the rev counter).  It shows what looks like a bottle of fluid with a drip above a wavy line.

Can someone enlighten me as to what this is supposed to show?  Thanks!
