Title: Flange nut

I am regarding to a differential output flange. As this nut is not a hexagonal type how to slacken it in the best way?

Do you mean the ring nut that holds the flange to the differential?

If so you either need to drift it off with a punch or make up a tool (perhaps modify a socket)

Exactly that nut. Thanks. I reckon it is tighten with a quite high torque.

I think you are correct!

It might be worth measuring it - there are some special balljoint sockets and you might get lucky and find one that fits.
