Title: 1600 downpipe S1 and S2 - Any differences?
Post by: peteracs on April 08, 2013, 01:15:37 PM
Hi All

So, is the 2 to 1 downpipe which attaches to the standard manifold on the 1600 Betas the same for the S1 1592cc and the S2 1585cc or are they different?

Thanks

Peter

Doesn't the S1 kink off to one side, whereas the S2 is straight? I've got one of each (or at least they are different). I will get some pics but they came from Rossocorsa who may be able to confirm?

Hi

I did think there was a difference, just never seen a S1 one up close. Have been offered one and guy said 'they are the same', but did not fully believe him....

Thanks

Peter

Peter

Just realised you have an S2. The kinked S1 pipe definately won't fit.

Hi Neil

That was my conclusion as well. The guy has the S2 one, ie straight. Does that mean it would NOT fit an S1 out of interest?
