the original pump is being newly reproduced by Bosch and is readily available (Ref: 0 580 464 070)
I bought one a few months ago for my 1983 HPE i.e.

I bought mine from merlinmotorsport, which are local to me, you may be able to find it cheaper elsewhere on the net though.

There are pumps replacements (maxgear make) available here in Poland for less than 20 pounds. I also found and bought recently rear brake discs (cifam) for ca 35 quids  ::)

those pumps may or may not be a good long term proposition, in my experience after market parts are at an all time low on quality so caution should be applied when purchasing. However if the pump is made in Poland I would have more faith than if it is Chinese.

This example is rather Chinese as most of replacement parts I think. Even bosch manufactures its parts there however.

brands made under strict quality control will be fine but i'm afraid it is russian roulette with other Chinese parts some are OK some are plain bad and it is difficult to tell the difference also there seems to be a lot of Chinese parts sold by after market brands these days plus of course a lot of fake stuff such as SKF bearings
