Title: Hazard warning light
Post by: redvxcoupe on May 10, 2012, 09:14:11 AM

Hello,

Does anyone know if all the Series 1 Beta Coupe was produced without hazard warning light?
My car is a -75 1600 for the Italian market and without this switch, I have a friend with a -74 1800 also without...
It does not have the gold relay mounted on the steering coloumn.

Can this be wired as a separate circuit? Maybe it is on later models?

I don't like having an emergency situation without this warning light

I seem to remember some had haz switch
It's fairly simple to make your own hidden
Switch.
Get a 6 pole double throw switch,
Indicator switch has 3 connections main, left & right
Add three new wires to these.
Connect the main wire to the two central poles of the
new switch, connect the other two wires to a pair of
poles, (one to each)  that's it teally. You won't have
flashing red lamp and it will put additional strain on
the flasher relay but in an emergency it's better to be
safe.
