Title: Superb renovation job done by SMARTCARZ (Chard). Lovely shiney Cromodoras!
Post by: VXdeMayo on January 28, 2012, 08:14:59 PM
Dear All,
I just thought I would let you know of a very competent wheel refurbishment firm based down in Chard, Somerset. They are called SMARTCARZ, and the propreitor (Darren Dalwood) was very helpful and competent regarding the whole process. What made it evan more of a pleasure was the fact that had liased with a nearby tyre bay to pop off tyres, renovate back and front, then pop on tyres partially (so the front was NOT damaged during final inflation). He then resprayed the front to match the rear, before back to the tyre bay again for final inflation and balancing etc. He evan then reblacked both sides of the tyres x 5!
His words "they will look beter than new" were indeed true, and he was very reasonable price wise, and quick to boot. (one week total)!

I must say I have NO connection with this firm other than being a satisfied customer.

Once back, I popped the new centre badges on, and put them on "LuLu" with newly re-chromed wheel bolts.
The results speak for themselves, chuffed.
see what you think.

PS: Next week its off to "Wesson Lancia" in Exeter for some body surgery to the windscreen scuttle and tailgate. Then she will look pretty good.
I enclose SMARTCARZ website if you want to give the a look. www.smartcarz.co.uk (http://www.smartcarz.co.uk)

The work will be to an excellent standard but it might be worth clarifying exactly what you want him to do and at what point he is to call you to authorise more work...

Wow they look brilliant! Im fairly close to chard so might look them up as mine could do with a refurb and always looks better done by a pro than me painting them in living room  :D
