I/D = 182 mm
O/D = 230 mm
Depth = 52 mm

Depth does not include the top & bottom sealing flanges which form the seal when the lid of the housing is tightened down.

Probably not relevant but the 1300 and perhaps the series 1 (?) are smaller in depth.

the parts book shows all to be the same, there is a similar element that fits some deltas maybe you are confusing with that?

useless fact of the day Beta round air filter is same as in a Lada

The Series 1 1600 definately has the same air filter as the S2 normally aspirated cars.  I would guess the S1 1800 will be use the same item too.

Bought an NOS element that was too deep for my filter box, but got one that fit from Betaboyz. Pretty sure that Mark has two different elements listed. Will check next time I look. I think the difference is whether or not the housing has the crude metal pipe down to the exhaust manifold or the later thermostatic trunking?
