I have question about a Beta I'm looking at buying it is advertised as a 1978 1800 but it has chrome in the bumpers where most North American cars were just rubber it has a factory cloth sunroof and a factory lip spoiler is this an import - what are the specs it has way more power than a 81 2000 that I also looked at thank you for any info Title: Re: Beta Question Post by: MattNoVAT on August 08, 2011, 07:32:11 PM Is it a Berlina (Sedan) a Coupe or HPE?
Do you have a picture of the car in question or the chassis number would be the perfect bit of info? If its a Coupe 1978 would make it a very late Series 2 1800 or an early Series 2 Face Lift car as far as the production run goes, hence needing the chassis number to determine. I've not driven an 1800 but I know the 1600's are a bit more spritely than the 2000cc engines. |
