Title: wiper motor removal

hi can somebody please tell me how to remove wiper motor on my beta, undone the two 13mm bolts still doesnt want to come out have i missed something ?the connecting rods dont seem to want to pop off either and i dont want to snap anything, am in the dark here as im still waiting for my workshop manual to arrive any help would be appreciated regards Rommel

The wiper motor comes out with the rods all attached. You'll need to remove the wipers and the locknuts holding the spindles in place.

Once free push the spindles through the holes and manipulate the motor our  - it is a bit of a fiddle.

Personally I hate doing this job - one of the bad bits of design IMO.

yeah it came over from east germany had it about five years, mad piece of kit !Great if you want to tow ballistic missles about or say a small country .Only problem it does about 4 to the gallon costs about 500 quid to fill up and in todays climate that aint good unless you own BP, so it doesnt really get used so much.Will dig out some pics tonight and post them
