As you'll see from my profile on the right I now have a British Flag displayed, under your profile settings you can now add your country of residence or origin so the appropriate flag of your choice will be added.

Just helps folk see where you are based :-)

If you want to do this for yourself then Select PROFILE tab from the top list of options then Forum Profile Information and halfway down you'll see the Country field which has a drop down list of all available countries/flags.

You'd have to create your own country Geoff and claim that as your national flag!

Or how about the flag of Cornwall?
Black and white for a bunch of pirates!

Happy to help.

This gives me a bit of a dilemma. Do I run the flag of the country where I live (UK), or the one where the Beta lives (France)?

Life is never simple...  Grin

How about having the Uk flag on one side, and the French flag on the other?

Simples....ish.

Assuming the flags are simple gif, then you could go for animated gif which goes from UK to French flag repeatedly... (same as the emoticons) That way you do not need to recode the forum layout, just the flags.

Then Geoff could have his skull and crossbones fading into black on black......

I figured that it would be used for determining where people are located when it comes to parts being sent/recieved, or in the case of our US based members it would help us determine that thier cars are US Spec so a little different to the Euro spec.
