Exciting progress Peter.

Looking forward to seeing it in a couple of weeks.

Hi John

As mentioned Mark has them listed, but may not suit everyone’s pocket., if you find a local fabricator I have one from a Strada 130 which could be modified, though not a trivial mod. It would however give you the flange and pipe work to start from.

Had an update from the body guy. All the sills are now complete (inner, middle, outer and upper) as well as various other areas needing sorting. They have now installed a roll over hoop so they can get on with the rear wheel arches which are a complete mess, so hopefully more progress together with an appropriate bill. I am looking forward to having the body back painted as the big bills should then be over.

My original top was in good condition and all the bolts came out, on the spare one it was a different story, all depends how much moisture was in the cabin I think.

I think probably that's the case too Peter.
I am going to have a go with repainting the surrounding area and the clips this summer.. Can't get all of the screws out and having broken one off already, will paint in situ. Tried all of the usual methods to remove but don't want to damage the roof itself.

On my list is replacing a blowing exhaust. Back section is new so an opportunity to "upgrade" the front sections ie 4-2-1

Does anyone know of a source, or exhaust fabricators within ~50 miles of Reading?

Hi

We are here for our regular dose of France, crap weather so far, but at least dry today so far. We are in a pretty unpopulated area in Western Burgundy, normally the only older cars we see are tatty French basic cars, but coming back from the supermarket just outside Corbigny I spotted a silver (?) VX HPE which looked in very nice condition coming the other way on a main road, so very quick glimpse of it. I assume a French registered car. That rates as the only Beta I have ever seen in France.

Hi

That looks similar to mine so suspect that is original or at least replaced very much the same as original
