My Coupe passed it's M.O.T. today, after a little frig: with the rear fog lamp wiring, and an advisory on the front n/s wishbone bushes.

Will be putting in an order for a poly bush set soon.

Quite surprised that the Coupe sailed through the test today! The rear offside shocker, which I was convinced had finally had it, escaped with only an advisory.  Grin

Is there an age from which vehicles are exempt from the MOT in the UK?
Here in Ireland, cars registered before 1st, January 1980 don't have to be tested.
It used to be a rolling thirty year rule, but was capped at 1980 a number of years ago.
Congrats on passing by the way!

Congratulations Neil !

Droptop, Its pre 1960 cars are exempt.  I think that rule started about a year ago.

I guess we have something right here then.
I won't mention the €1200 per year road tax for my BMW 325!
