Title: New Member Says Hi!
Post by: LanciaNut69 on May 11, 2010, 02:58:12 PM
Hi there,

My name is Darren Cooksey and I'm an alc.... no wait, wrong meeting!  I've been involved in Lancias for a fair few years, having started my ownership with a beautiful series 2 coupe, but since then I've had a Delta and a fair few Montecarlos, which I still own!  I know a number of the Consortium are adding Beta Spyders to their collections, but if I were able to convince the better half that we needed another Lancia, then it would have to be another coupe!

Some of you may know me from the Consortium and the usual good natured badinage on the stand at the NEC, and for those that don't, you're probably better off! ;D

The other reason for joining is to see if I can locate the 'L' shaped bracket and fixing bolt that connects on one end to the oilway and at each end to oil pressure switch/gauge sender - can anyone help?  If so, please PM or email me.

Thanks!

Darren

Welcome Darren, You do indeed get about a bit.

Did I see you at Brooklands (although I didn't get a chance to say hello)

Hi Matt,

No I unfortunately didn't make to Brooklands - spent the weekend under the car!  I was at the Bristol Show and I will definitely be going to Gaydon later in the year.  Inbetween will depend on how quickly the car goes back together.  I may get down to Goodwood next weekend, and the nextr big event is obviously classic Le Mans.  Look forward to catching up at an event in the not too distant future.

Cheers

Darren
