Title: Spider inner wing - quick question
Post by: rodney3010 on September 28, 2009, 06:02:56 PM
I've been cleaning up the inner wing on my spider and taken the plastic inner out. Behind this was a small (approx 350mm long) piece of metal with rubber edging and held in place with three small self tapping screws. There was also what seemed to be seam sealer along one edge. Question therefore, presuming it was original, is it seam sealer and if not, what is it?

Yes it's standard. It's a pieceof cheapo metal sealed around the edges with seam sealer. It's there to keep the worst of the crud off the A pillar.

The seam sealer is there as the fit to the outer wing is a bit hit and miss.
